Bobbie Thomas finds jeans to fit your curves

Inspired by the bra sizing system, Levis has developed a new system to help better cover our assets - - the new Curve ID concept.

While a brassiere not only measures your chest circumference, it also accounts for your cup size, thus the new Curve ID system considers not only your waistlines but your womanly humps.

They’ve identified three main categories of body shapes.

The plan is to design styles – from slim leg to bootcut – with each curve category in mind making small tweaks and adjustments where needed. Therefore three different people can wear a particular look a more flattering way.

You can check out the website to find your fit and learn more about all the research that went into developing the curvy collection.

i'm a 39year old stay-at-home/work-from-home mom (that means i'm never at home, cause i'm constently running errands here there and yonder!), i have 2 children and a wonderful husband, i also have 20lbs of extra weight that i gained over the last year having been pregnant with my 2nd child! clothes use to fit me!! i use to be able to wear just about anything!! i've gone from a tone 155lb size 8-10, to a blob at 185lbs and a size 14... i can't find summer clothes to flatter, much less the thought of jeans! and i'm sorry, but there are no personal shoppers at my local mall! what do you do? i've never been the mom jean/sweat pant/stonewash capri wearing type!?!?!?!?

Sorry but all of the models in that photo are still quite thin and none really has "curves." Get real Levis!

And I went to the website to look at sizes, and the largest waist was 33 inches. All the jeans are labeled "skinny" as well, so Levis does not accommodate for the larger curvier gal. These jeans are for already skinny girls who have a slightly larger butt. I would guess these jeans don't fit anyone over a size 8. But wait, that's considered obese nowadays isn't it? ;)
