Bow to Wow: March madness

By TODAY correspondent Jill Rappaport

Now that spring has finally sprung, it's the perfect time to adopt a dog.

Animal Care & Control of New York City has some wonderful canines for you, starting with Timmy, a gorgeous, golden 1-year-old Lab mix. Timmy’s warm, loving eyes and energetic personality make him a winner indeed, not to mention that he's a major smoocher!

Next up is a beautiful Australian shepherd named Luke. This tricolored special with magnetic eyes is so affectionate, he’d be happy to spend the entire day lying in your lap.

Another great option is Bear, a 134-lb. Rottweiler who is as sweet as they come, with a heart to match his considerable size. Sadly, Bear was given up by a family who’d owned him since he was a puppy, but that hasn't changed his stellar temperament and mellow demeanor.

Finally, meet two of the most adorable terrier mixes, who just happen to be father and son. Kevin and Davie are the cutest, most cuddly boys, and will just melt in your lap. These two must stay together, because they are so attached to each other.

So here's our great group of spring specials, just waiting to warm your hearts and homes.
