TODAY lets Meredith know we won't stop believin'!

Update, 2/3/12 at 10:45 a.m. ET

Due to restrictions, we had to remove the video of TODAY's musical tribute to Meredith. Although the footage of our plaza celebration is no longer online, you can still relive the fun of that June morning below.

Original post

The whole TODAY team got together to send off Meredith in true TODAY style – with a big song and dance!

The crew, producers, correspondents, TODAY.com team – along with special guests Abe Vigoda and Jimmy Fallon – performed a number to Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" live on the plaza, wearing color-coded T-shirts that showed the whole world just how much we heart Meredith.

It all began with Meredith and Matt at the piano as the classic Journey song started to play...

Next, Kathie Lee and Hoda grabbed Meredith and ran her out onto the plaza...

Who screamed and cheered as they met up with Jimmy Fallon, who rocked out on the guitar and brought her across the street!

When she got back to the plaza, the whole team was performing the choreographed dance they've been perfecting for days.

Even Abe Vigoda was there! Which is why he's been trending on Twitter. (Remember this hilarious moment?)

By the end, Meredith was in tears as Al, Matt, Ann and Natalie presented her with a special keepsake – a picture of the whole gang at the re-opening of the Statue of Liberty.

As the Ted Williams story, this also is one of my very favorites, Don't Stop Believe n!!! The Today Show, Oprah, and The Ellen Degeneres show all had brought out my sixth sense in me and since Oprah went off the air I kept drawling and drawling and drawling, I then put these beautiful characters in a book called Zillion Goes To Earth, Ted Williams could be the voice of Zillion. The characters are trying to save this town, Portsmouth Ohio. President Obama is in it also. You just would believe all these characters my next one is Smoothie and his brother goes to Hollywood.

You all got me believe n, I miss Meredith she was so good!!! I love Ann Curry and Al and Matt and the rest of the crew!!!!!!!!!!!

I also have done one of you all too!!!!!!!!!!

Thank You All

Best Wishes

Kimberly

I use to live where they found Ted Williams at in Columbus Ohio. I lived off the Broad St. exit, Monroe St. I have an really unusual visualization of these beautiful characters I see, it is 1000's of them. Cannot drawl them quick enough, Disney would give anything to get them if they would see these!!!

    Merry Christmas
