Matt explains 2 clues for the last day in his global trip

TODAY

Updated Nov. 11 at 7:15 a.m. ET:
Matt ended his global journey at an "epic party" in Barbardos. After this week, our anchor deserves to blow off some steam!

As far as those clues go, Matt admitted that the latest one didn't exactly point to anywhere in the world. "I'm just in the mood to have a party. It was a long week, and Barbados is the perfect location for that."

The picture clue did give our readers a bit of a hint. It was a photo of the top of a barrel from Mount Gay Rum, the oldest rum brand in the world.

Matt will be dropped onto the deck of Norweigian Cruise Line's Epic, their newest and most innovative ship. I wish I could join the party if this guess is correct!

It looks like the ship will be at sea near the Bahamas tomorrow. He hasn't had a tropical destination and he did travel to Necker Island one year and the Seychelles last time. I'm inclined to think that he would travel further than another destination to Europe to "clock" those miles, too, and it would be on his way back. The tip "to our backs" could refer to sunbathing.

The biggest party spot in Europe is Amsterdam. But I've been wrong about all of my answers so far, so I'm probably wrong this time too! LOL

I have been wrong so far too, but Rena my guess is the same as yours due to Queensday (although it isn't April). My guess is Koninginnedag, Amsterdam.

Amsterdam is my Guess too... It's south of the Alps and the tightest party spot.

I think Matt's headed to Greece. It's famous for its epic poetry (the Iliad, the Odyssey) and it's the home of track and field (Olympic games). The reference to partying might mean Corfu or one of the other islands known for its nightlife.

Normandy. It's Veteran's Day tomorrow. Epic event happened there.

I think he will go to Berlin. It is party central and he can get there by rail.

I think Matt will be in Russia on Friday because the clue hinted about tracks and a party of epic proportions. Since the winter olympics including tracks and partying will be located in Russia, I guess there for the last destation.
