See the Super Bowl ad featuring our TODAY anchors

Did you catch our TODAY anchors in NBC's Super Bowl commercial?

They starred with more than 100 other NBC personalities in an ad called "Brotherhood of Man," which featured everyone singing the tune of that name from the Broadway musical "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying." Who knew our journalists and entertainment stars all had such good voices?

The Rockefeller Plaza portion of the ad, a promotion for NBC's programming slate, was filmed during a few days in late January. See below for some behind-the-scenes pictures, including our TODAY talent hanging out with their "SNL" counterparts.

TODAY's Life Illustrated shows some Super Bowl Sunday spirit

    By Chiara Sottile, Weekend TODAY

The time has come: Super Bowl Sunday is here. TODAY's Life Illustrated showcases a few of the priceless football fan photos you submitted. Thank you for sharing your favorite game moments, your family portraits (decked out in matching jerseys, of course), and the joy of being a dedicated fan. Who are you rooting for in today's big game? Tell us below in the comments. And remember, you can send us your sports memories--and photos of any theme--to TODAY's Life Illustrated each week. Some will appear on air on Sundays!

    Brayden

    "'Bama, baby!" - Sharon Duke

    Dave Dann and Jeff Stratton

"Great day for two huge Broncos fans... down on the field at Invesco Field, Denver, CO." - Sherri Dann

    Final game in Giant's Stadium

"This is a picture of my mother, brother and I at our final game for the last season in Meadowlands Stadium. We are season ticket holders (30+ years), and this was our last time sitting in our seats in the old stadium. It was especially sentimental since these are the seats where we last saw the Jets with my father, who passed away 10 years ago. He gave us our love for the game and our love for the Jets (no matter the season!), and I know he was smiling that day!" - Anne Casola

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! Go Giants! Daddy's triplet team!

"The Ramos Triplets put on their Sunday best!" - Jose Ramos

    O-H-I-O

"My husband is a student at the Ohio State University." - Jo Anna Kemble

    A house divided

"Kinsey's mommy went to University of Florida and her daddy went to Vanderbilt. They both love football! Mommy's team usually has the winning edge over daddy's, but Kinsey cheers for both." - Julie Burns

    Emma, Grace and a snowman

    "Go Patriots!" - Thomas Livingston

Giants vs. Patriots: TODAY talent take sides in Super Bowl battle

The TODAY talent, including Ann, Hoda, Jeff and Bobbie, reveal who they're rooting for in the Super Bowl.

    By Steve Veres, TODAY.com

Either from the field or in front of a TV, most of the TODAY family will be glued to the Super Bowl this Sunday. Where do their loyalties lie? TODAY.com asked our talent who they were rooting for to win the big game. Here are their answers:

Ann: ‎Everything I know about football, you could barely fill a paragraph. My husband is rooting for the Giants; my son is rooting for the Patriots. So to stay married and to keep my son happy, I'm actually not going to say who I'm really rooting for!

Al: I'm hoping for a repeat of that amazing game in 2008 with the exact same outcome. Each team has three Super Bowl rings. Here's to the Giants ending up with four!

Natalie: I'll be rooting for the Giants. I love Eli Manning and his calm, stealth-like demeanor. And I'm enjoying all of the buzz that Victor Cruz is bringing the team with his salsa celebrations. I'm just excited about a great football game, family time and, of course, some pretty hilarious commercials.

Savannah: I know it is a cliche, but I'm rooting for a close game!

Hoda: I am GO BLUE! Why? As a Saints' fan I am partial to my New Orleans boys — and Eli is a big New Orleans boy. So it's not GO BLUE ... it's GEAUX BLUE!

Kathie Lee: She didn't respond in time for comment, but we're pretty sure she's rooting for the Giants! Her husband Frank is a Hall of Fame football player who spent the majority of his career with the Giants. He helped take his team to five NFL Championship Games.

Jenna Wolfe, Sunday TODAY anchor: I'm rooting for the Seahawks because it would be an unbelievable upset if they won.

Jill Martin, TODAY contributor of Steals and Deals fame: I've been a Giants fan my whole life, and Victor Cruz recently taught me how to salsa at a Knicks game. I can't wait to learn the Super Bowl victory dance!

Bobbie Thomas, TODAY Style Editor: Hard to say because their uniform colors are so similar. But I like the shiny silver helmets — and I was raised in New England — so go Pats!

Jeff Rossen, correspondent: I'm cheering for the GIANTS! The team has heart. People come and go, and yet they still manage to pull it together as a team. Besides, if I root for Boston I'll be strung up in my house. It's really a personal safety issue.

Peter Alexander, correspondent: The Bears ... oh wait!

Jenna Bush Hager, correspondent: The Ravens! Haha ... I guess the Giants since I live in New York.

Tamron Hall, NBC News correspondent who was born in Texas: The Pats because the Giants beat the Cowboys!

Bob Dotson, NBC News correspondent: Who do I like in the Super Bowl? I haven't been asked such a tough question since I found out all of my future brother-in-laws carried guns — one was a cop, one was a Federal agent, one was an inspector in the Air Force, and the last? Yikes, he was a Marine! I would be the only brother-in-law to show up for the Super Bowl VI family gathering and NOT lock a gun in the coat closet. My in-laws' favorite team in 1972 was the Dallas Cowboys.  The Cowboys were playing the Miami Dolphins. I liked sunshine and palm trees. How would I respond?

I waited to answer that question until all the guns were in the gun safe. Then I placed my reporter's notebook and tape recorder in the lock box, too.

"No comment," I beamed. I like to think that's why I'm still invited to the family Super Bowl party. I've managed never to answer "Who do you like in the Super Bowl?" Not in 40 years of marriage.

Jenna Wolfe at Super Bowl: Hoosiers tackle me with hospitality

    Jenna Wolfe / Twitter

Jenna stands in front of Al Michael's seat in the NBC broadcast booth for the Super Bowl.

By Jenna Wolfe, Sunday TODAY co-anchor

On the kindness scale of 1-100, Indy gets a 101 this week. As a jaded New Yorker in town to cover the Super Bowl, I was not prepared for the welcome mat to be laid out in thick, plush, wonderful charisma.

From the second I stepped off the plane (all the car service folks were dressed in Colts jerseys) to the minute I checked into my hotel (the porters literally fought to help me with my one small carry-on), it's been non-stop Hoosier hospitality.

Even the Starbucks baristas didn't laugh at my order (tall decaf sugar-free vanilla Americano with steamed skim milk).

This city has pulled out all the stops for Super Bowl 46 (I hate Roman numerals). I've covered a number of these in the past and this one — by far — stands out as having given the warmest welcome I've ever received.

Besides the free coffee and healthy snacks, there are folks known as the STREET TEAM (think mobile information booths) walking up and down the streets with "ASK ME" hats on. They're just waiting to be asked a question about absolutely anything (FYI, they know where the cool new zip line is located; they don't know why my elbow hurts).

I've been working on a few fun stories for TODAY. For one, we went behind the scenes to see how our lovely network puts on a show as large as the Super Bowl. It takes 12 huge production trucks, 60 miles of cable and 40 different cameras all over Lucas Oil Field (I loved walking around on the gridiron for a little bit).

I spent a few minutes with the great Al Michaels, who's rooting not for the Giants or Pats, but instead for triple overtime to ensure the most drama. Tune in Saturday and Sunday for these pieces.

I even hung out with former Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints quarterback and Hoda Kotb crush. We discussed football and more football and then had some fun playing Xbox Kinect, the new interactive athletic gaming device he's fronting to help fight childhood obesity. Great guy, terrible dancer. (Just check out the video.)

Sorry to cut this short, but I've been sitting on a curb writing this, and a gentleman just came out from the corner restaurant and asked me if I'd like to use one of his tables. And that's Hoosier hospitality. Pay it forward.

Jenna Wolfe, a self-proclaimed gym rat and daredevil, anchors TODAY on Sunday. Her Starbucks order is only slightly more complicated than Lester's.

Who's the better QB: Hoda or Kathie Lee?

    By Julieanne Smolinski

The Super Bowl isn't til Sunday, but the world got a small taste of gridiron drama this morning, when Kathie Lee and Hoda showed off their spirals in a football-tossing showdown.

Could it be possible that there are two star athletes in the Gifford house? Is one of them the secret fourth-hour QB ringer? Furthermore, could seasoned physical-challenge shirker Hoda somehow find a way to cheat at throwing a ball through a hoop? We all remember her night of bowling with Kathie Lee and their moms, when her co-host called her a "serial cheater." And who could forget "Pancake Gate 2010" or her stepping over the line during their baseball-themed competition with Cal Ripken Jr?

Wellllllll… let's just say they have lots of other talents.

Several attempts were made to chuck the ol' pigskin through a tire, but lo, not a shot was made today. Though she's not getting any Heismans any time soon, Hoda did prove that she excels at trash talk, chanting "come on, Frank Gifford's wife." There's our queen of sportsmanship.

"The good news is we're not playing in the game this weekend," said Kathie Lee. Brady and Manning, congrats; you're safe for another day.

'Indy never looked better': Al zip-lines over Super Bowl city

    By Steve Veres, TODAY.com

Indianapolis, we have lift-off! As part of TODAY's coverage of the Super Bowl this morning, Al zip-lined off a nearly 100-foot tall tower, flying above the Crossroads of America at speeds up to 40 miles per hour .

"That, my friends, is how you get to see Indianapolis for Super Bowl XLVI," Al said. "Indy never looked better."

The ride from Ziptrek Ecotours is one of the most popular attractions in town this weekend. It offers a great view of Lucas Oil Stadium, where the big game will be played, and company officials say that at 800 feet, it's the longest temporary zip line ever built.

Jackie Magnuson, a fan who joined TODAY's broadcast in Indy, had a great view of Al flying overhead. Watch her video here.

It's not the first time Al's zip-lined on TODAY. "He's a zip-line expert," Matt said, referring to the time that he joined Al, Ann and Meredith in flying over Vancouver during the 2010 Winter Olympics.

The TODAY family takes a tour of Vancouver, the host city of the 2010 Winter Olympics, by way of zip line.

Thanks Al and the Today show for showing ruining the best part of the superbowl, the commercials. In a year with two teams that make no difference to me who wins. I now know more about the commercials, the surprise celebrities and content then i wanted to know before Super bowl sunday. Thank, John

Matt will interview President Obama before Super Bowl

Pete Souza / The White House file

President Barack Obama interview with Matt Lauer in the White House in 2010.

Matt Lauer will sit down with President Barack Obama live on Super Bowl Sunday before the big game.

He'll chat with the commander in chief at the White House about policy and election-year politics.

The one-on-one talk will air during a special pre-game edition of TODAY airing late Sunday afternoon on NBC.

Matt's previous interviews with Obama have been spirited affairs. In June 2010, the president said he was seeking an "ass to kick" over the Gulf oil spill. And before the 2009 Super Bowl, Obama talked about bringing troops home from Iraq.
